Old Town Baume-les-Dames
Start with a historical walk through Old Town Baume-les-Dames - the Dukes of Neufchâtel’s House, the Abbey, St Martin's Church, ... Baume-les-Dames reveals its history! Have a break in a bakery and taste some local specialties!
Go to the Tourist Information and ask for the guide to get more information about the monuments on the tour.
Doubs Banks
Then take a stroll or a ride on the Eurovelo 6, a pleasant green way along the Doubs River. Ideal with a pushchair, rollerblades or a skateboard as it is tarmacked. Park in Baume-les-Dames, either in the Moulin Vermoret Street close to the red footbridge or Quai du Canal Street close to the lock.
Cusancin Valley
Finally enjoy the intimate atmosphere of the lovely Cusancin Valley. Drive to Val de Cusance and discover the two sources. The one, the Source Bleue, is blue and quiet, the other, the Source Verte, is wilder. You can also walk to the Saint-Ermenfroi Chapel which dominates the small village.
